Funds Generated will Benefit the 2005 American Red Cross Hurricane Season Relief Fund 

WOBURN, MA (October 20, 2005)— In an effort to aid those families who have been left displaced and in need as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub raised $237,000 during a three week in-store fundraiser that ran from September 2nd through September 25th to benefit 2005 American Red Cross Hurricane Season Relief. 

At the 107 Ninety Nine Restaurant locations across New England and New York, customers and staff raised $138,000 through cash contributions.  In addition to the funds raised by both customers and staff, the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub also matched a donation of $99,000, bringing the grand total to $237,000.

 “We all feel the affects of Hurricane Katrina and our hearts go out to those who have lost everything a result of such a devastating natural disaster,” said Ninety Nine President John Grady.   “Our ‘We treat people right philosophy’ means that our company and its staff are passionate about helping people in need.  We are very proud to make this donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.”
