Two Week In-Store Raffle Will Run from March 20-April 2 in 50 Location

Woburn, MA (March 10, 2006) –On March 20th, the Ninety Nine Restaurant will launch a
two-week, in-store raffle to benefit the Pine Street Inn, which will send five lucky guests to see the Boston Red Sox play the Detroit Tigers during “Ninety Nine Night” at Fenway Park on August 15th.  Participating Ninety Nine restaurants will sell $2 raffle tickets (3 for $5) from March 20th through April 2nd, and winners will be announced the following week.  All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Pine Street Inn, New England’s largest homeless shelter.  Prizes include five pairs of Monster Seats for the August 15th home game at 7:05 pm.

This fundraiser is part of the Ninety Nine’s longstanding relationship with the Pine Street Inn.  Last year’s raffle raised $50,000 for the Pine Street Inn.  Over the past twenty-five years, through its guests and team members, the Ninety Nine has donated more than 2.5 million dollars to the Inn. Team members from various locations volunteer to travel to the Pine Street Inn on the second Tuesday of every month to prepare and serve restaurant-style dinners for more than 1,000 guests. The Ninety Nine has assisted in the launch of the Inn’s Food Services Job Training Program to help homeless men and women acquire the skills and self confidence to move back into the community.   The company also dedicated a new center for the Job Training & Food Services Program in Boston.
