Ninety Nine Restaurant Unveils Fresh New Look

Brand new look. Same great food.

WALTHAM, MA (June 2006) — Ninety Nine Restaurant, a casual restaurant with 112 locations throughout the six New England states, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey celebrated the launch of the restaurant’s new contemporary look last month at their Waltham restaurant, located at 110 South St. in Waltham.  After extensive brand testing, research and guest testimonials, the Ninety Nine Restaurant developed a new look that has been extremely well received by its guests.

In order to evolve with the ever-changing restaurant industry, the Ninety Nine has launched a new look, which includes a new feel, décor and a new menu design.  With all of these exciting changes, they maintain their great food, great drink and friendly service.

One of the most visible changes to guests is the new logo, which features a softer and more contemporary rendering of the famous horseshoe.

In an effort to become more contemporary and accommodate the changing needs of today’s families, the Ninety Nine now features a brighter and more contemporary interior and exterior, newly upholstered booths with new tables, new bar stools, carpeting in the dining room, new china and flatware, more modern lighting and new flat screen televisions.

As part of the décor, the restaurant’s new look features “Ninety Nine Reasons” to eat at the Ninety Nine Restaurant.  Some of the reasons are concrete, such as reason # 90, Boneless Buffalo Wings- it’s debatable whether we’ve invented them, but we’ve perfected them, and some are tongue and cheek.  There are also pictures of the local high school sporting teams from the 80’s and 90’s.

“After listening to our guests we needed to contemporize our look and feel,” said Ninety Nine President John Grady. “The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to offering this new look to our guests.”

With more than 20 million guests served each year, the Ninety Nine is a friendly, comfortable place to gather and enjoy great American food and drink at a terrific price. Known for their signature hand-breaded Boneless Buffalo Wings, smothered with the Ninety Nine’s own special sauce, and Broiled Sirloin Tips in a special marinade, the Ninety Nine menu has something for everyone and offers a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, delicious desserts and signature cocktails.

In addition to providing great food and great drink at a terrific price, the Ninety Nine also prides itself in being an active member of the local community.  Each Ninety Nine Restaurant has a relationship at the local level with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the oldest and largest organization that has a primary mission of service to youth.  Each time a new restaurant location is opened, the Ninety Nine makes a donation to benefit the local Boys & Girls Club that serves that location's community.

Owned by O’Charley’s Inc., the Ninety Nine Restaurant is New England’s first locally-based casual restaurant chain, established in 1952 at 99 State Street in Boston.  Headquartered in Woburn, MA, Ninety Nine Restaurant currently operates over 110 restaurants and employs over 6,500 team members.  For more information visit www.99restaurants.com.
