The Ninety Nine Restaurant in Milford Celebrated its Remodel with Auction to Benefit the Boys & Girls Club
Brand new look....Same great food and great drink....Dressed to the Nines
MILFORD, MA (October 2006) — The Ninety Nine Restaurant raised $8,000 to benefit the Blackstone Valley Boys & Girls Club during a two-week long in-store silent auction this month. The restaurant auctioned off nostalgic plaques that have decorated the restaurant’s walls and were replaced as a part of the launch of the restaurant’s remodeling. The funds will help support the Boys & Girls Club’s ongoing programs.
“We are passionate about our relationship with the Boys & Girls Club and believe in their mission, so we wanted to involve them in this step of our remodeling process,” said Jim Houley, General Managing Partner of the Milford Ninety Nine. “We are honored to support such a wonderful organization, and with the help of our guests and team members, it made it a successful auction.”
In order to evolve with the ever-changing restaurant industry, the Ninety Nine is remodeling its restaurants, which includes a new décor. With all of these exciting changes, the restaurant is truly “Dressed to the Nines” while maintaining its great food, great drink and friendly service. One of the most visible changes to guests is the new logo, which features a softer and more contemporary rendering of the famous horseshoe.
The new Ninety Nine Restaurant now features a brighter, warmer and more comfortable atmosphere, with brightly-colored upholstered booths and new tables, movable bar stools, carpeting in the dining room, new china, more modern lighting and new flat screen televisions.
As part of the décor, the restaurant’s new look features “Ninety Nine Reasons” to eat at
the Ninety Nine Restaurant. Some of the reasons are concrete, and some are tongue and cheek. There are also pictures of the local high school sporting teams from the 80’s and 90’s.
“After listening to our guests we needed to contemporize our look and feel,” said Ninety Nine President John Grady. “The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to offering this new refreshing ambience to our guests.”
With more than 20 million guests served each year, the Ninety Nine is a friendly, comfortable place to gather and enjoy great American food and drink at a terrific price. Known for their signature hand-breaded Boneless Buffalo Wings, smothered with the Ninety Nine’s own special sauce, and Broiled Sirloin Tips in a special marinade, the Ninety Nine menu has something for everyone and offers a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, delicious desserts and signature cocktails.
In addition to providing great food and great drink at a terrific price, the Ninety Nine also prides itself in being an active member of the local community. Each Ninety Nine Restaurant has a relationship at the local level with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the oldest and largest organization that has a primary mission of service to youth.
“We thank the Ninety Nine in Milford for their extreme generosity and we thank the Ninety Nine Restaurants for their continuous support of the Boys & Girls Club,” said Bruce Patterson, Executive Director of the Blackstone Valley branch.
